What are some of the sounds you hear while playing the game mean?

• A sound is triggered when Jason uses his sense ability.
• When Jason uses his shift ability a oomph type of sound is played.
• Dial Tone will play two times when a counselor is fixing the phone line
  
  • This sound effect may also trigger when a player fails a repair mini game during a phone or battery event
• Police siren will play for a brief while when they arrive and at the exit they're at after they have been called.
• If you are playing as Jason, and hear "Mom" speak that means counselors are at your cabin.

When does the Pre-Order Closed PC Beta end?

The last day of closed beta is on friday December 23,2016.

What is the disk size of the PC Beta?

The client is around 2.5 GB.

Where are the car keys?

 Check inside desks, you can usually find them inside one of the drawers.

Where can I find a car battery?

One location of a car battery is usually in the barn.

Where can I find the fuel tank for the car?

One location of a fuel tank is usually in the barn.

Police Phone Locations Map

Quick map guide on the various locations you can find the police phone.

Go to each spot and check to see if the police phone is there. The police call phone is small and is green colored.  If power is disabled you will have to repair the electric box outside. Once power is up you can make a call to the police who will show up in 5 minutes. When the police show up you have a opportunity to escape from Jason's wrath!

Tip: During the opening of the round, you are at the Stillwater camp. If you notice on the left side a red sparking light then the phone is in the Stillwater location.

How to play as a counselor in Friday the 13th game!

Quick overview guide on how to play as a counselor in Friday the 13th game.

Main goal for counselors is to survive, which can be accomplished in a variety of ways.

• Repair Vehicle
  Repair the car and drive off the map, car needs a battery, fuel and keys.
• Call PolicePhone the cops and wait until they arrive.
• Hide / Avoid Jason
  Stay away from Jason until the end of the round.
• Group Up and attack Jason
  Find weapons, group with other counselors and attack Jason

Fear generation needs to be managed in order to stay hidden from Jason's sense ability. Some of the fear triggers are the following:

• Being Isolated from others
• Dark areas
• If Jason is chasing you
• Seeing a dead body
• Running and opening doors

Tips

Use crouch to move around silently and regain some stamina.
Stamina depletes while running or jogging, only use it when necessary.
Jogging still works for alittle speed boost even if your out of stamina.
Higher intelligence, the quicker you can repair, avoid failures since they will create noise that alerts Jason.

Special Character - Tommy Jarvis is triggered by finding a a CB Radio in one of the cabins. Once you use the cb radio, a player who already is dead or has escaped will return as Tommy. This character is equipped with a shotgun that does massive damage but only has one bullet. Tommy's stats are also higher then regular counselors.

Useful Items:
Pocket knife can instantly get you out of Jason's grab.
Radio's can be turned on to cause distractions
Bear traps can be found in various places, you can picked up and set them where you like but they can also ensnare counselors too be sure to tell others you have placed one down if they are nearby.

Main goal for playing as Jason is to chase and kill all of the counselors roaming around on the map before they get away or the round ends.

To help you accomplish this Jason has a set of abilities which include the following:

• Morph
  Allows Jason to teleport around the map.
• Sense
  A way of detecting locations of counselors, the higher fear level a counselor has the easier it is to find them. Sense can detect counselors in cabins but cant exactly pinpoint them.
• Shift
  This is basically a stealth run in order to catch up to counselors.
• Rage
  Abilities are more powerful, allows Jason to break thru doors and some walls.

Note: Abilities have a cool-down, use them wisely.

Jason can destroy many objects around the map which will heighten the fear on the counselors making the easy to find with the sense ability. Here are some of the objects you can destroy around the map:

• Radios
  Prevent counselors from causing noise distractions
• Doors / Walls
  Breaking doors and walls with counselors near will scare them.
• Electric Boxes
  Destroying electrical boxes will cut the power to the lights putting more fear into counselors.
• Windows
  Shattering windows makes it more dangerous for counselors to use them for getting away.

Other stuff to check out for Jason are the many different fatality options. You can equip up to four different kill types and purchase more using customization points by leveling up. These special kill types can be triggered when you grab a counselor.  There are also some other kill types depending on your location, for instance if you are near a fireplace Jason will use that to cause a special fatality.
